Hi, my name is Tahoma Khalsa and I am a fitness professional that has lived in the Northwest my whole life. My first interest in the health and fitness field was nutrition. I received a Dietetic Technician degree at SCC, and completed over 400 hours of internship at various facilities such as Ida Culver House, and University of Washington Medical Hospital. I continued my education at Western Washington where I received a BA in Exercise and Sports Science in 2009. I have been personal training and directing races ever since. I love what I do.

Running is one of my greatest strengths; I was a NCAA national competitor in college where I applied my Exercise Science Degree to real life training. I am constantly participating in road races and marathons, as well as incorporating resistance exercises to maintain a well balanced training program.

I wanted to share my love for exercise and sports with others which is why I have started Skyline Fitness. Some characteristics that others have described me as are funny, outgoing, and motivated. I enjoy getting people pumped up for work outs, and seeing progress. I train 7 day a week and have lots of knowledge on how training can help to improve your health, mind, body and attitude towards life.

ACSM Personal Trainer

Hi, I’m Lane McCulloch. My new-found passion for fitness has led me to become an ACSM Certified Personal Trainer. In this role I hope to lead people to their healthiest selves, and I believe a fitness program that includes running is a key part of that journey.  Until pretty recently I was 40 pounds overweight, with a BMI that had me pushing obese territory. When my daughter entered first grade I realized I could no longer pass it off as “baby weight” … so I got serious in the gym. I also adopted running as my preferred means of cardio.  As it is for so many people, running was daunting for me. But once I ran my first 5K I was hooked! I found nothing more motivating than setting a race goal and meeting – or beating – it. And those PR’s really started happening once I joined Skyline. The interval workouts boosted my fitness like nothing had before, and suddenly I was winning a 5K and running my first half marathon.

My goal at Skyline is to provide novice runners and would-be runners a community of encouragement and support so they can develop a solid running program, while also helping more advanced runners break through plateaus to attain new levels of performance.  I look forward to working with runners of all levels in an environment built upon sound training principles, mutual respect, and -  most important - having fun!
